Their diversity in work experience has brought a depth of knowledge to the company, which has helped it expand significantly from residential construction into the commercial construction sector. Julie Garrard
President
Julie Garrard has been with Garrard Framing and Drywall since 2004 and now serves as President. She holds a general contractor license. Under her leadership, Garrard Framing and Drywall has been awarded numerous sizable contracts, including work at universities, assisted living facilities, and retirement communities. In addition, the company now holds a Minority, Women, and Florida Veteran Certification through the State of Florida’s Department of Management Services, a widely recognized and respected certification.
Stephen Garrard
VP of Operations and Estimating
Stephen Garrard has a reputation for being a results oriented, hands-on construction and development professional. He came to Garrard Framing and Drywall in 2001 and has 10 years of experience in all facets of the construction industry. As the VP of Operations and Estimating, Stephen oversees single family and small multi-family construction and commercial projects in Polk County, Sebring, Tampa and Clearwater. Stephen’s strengths are in the details of construction planning and scheduling, quality control management, code compliance, estimating and job costing.
Juan Morales
Estimator/Project Manager
With 19 years in the construction industry, Juan Rosales is an estimator/project manager for Garrard Framing and Drywall. He began working in construction in 1996 hanging drywall, and he brings experience with hospital ACHA inspections and ICRA containments to his current position. Juan joined Garrard in 2013 as a field foreman and now oversees bidding and project management for Garrard’s Tampa office. He and his wife have three kids and belong to Iglesia Pentecoste El Mana Spanish Pentecostal Church in Dade City, where he shares his love for cooking at church activities.
Cervando (Servi) Sosa Valencia
Project Manager and Estimator
Servi Sosa Valencia has more than 25 years of experience in commercial metal framing, drywall, stucco and exterior insulation and finishing system (EIFS). As an estimator and project manager for Garrard Framing and Drywall, he establishes relationships with general contractors, negotiates and reviews contracts, and prepares budgets and detailed proposals, requests for information (RFI) and responsible contractor ordinances (RCO). Servi enjoys traveling and playing basketball and softball. He and his wife have been married for 31 years and have two children and one grandchild.
Danna Smith
Estimatics Coordinator
With almost 10 years of experience in her field, Danna Smith is an estimatics coordinator for Garrard Framing and Drywall. Her previous experience includes working in accounts receivable for companies that specialize in heavy equipment, framing and drywall, and civil and structural engineers. Danna enjoys painting and sewing. She is married and has one son.
