In addition, the company has named Julie Garrard as its new president. Former president Louis Garrard will now serve as the vice president for the Winter Haven office. Julie Garrard, who holds a general contractors license, has been with the company for 8 years. Previously, she spent over 7 years in the insurance industry, where she gained valuable residential and commercial construction knowledge working with claims in the wake of the massive damage left by Hurricane Charley.
Under Garrard’s leadership, the company has been awarded numerous sizeable contracts, including work at universities, assisted living facilities, and retirement communities. In addition, Garrard Framing and Drywall, Inc. recently earned a Minority, Women, and Florida Veteran Certification through the State of Florida’s Department of Management Services, a widely recognized and respected certification.
